Running is an easy and effective exercise form that is suitable for both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts. There are several things that are beneficial to be aware of in connection with your running. This article presents a series of tips and pitfalls you should avoid.

When you start to jog, there are many practical things that can make your jogging a good experience. Conversely, you should also avoid falling into some of the most common pitfalls.

Have a goal with your jogging

When you begin exercising, it is a very good idea to have an overall goal with the exercise. The objective should above all help to motivate you in your daily workout, it aldo helps to create an overview of what you want to achieve with your workout. This does not mean that you should not enjoy working out, or that your workout should not be fun in itself. Cycling - Preventing Training Injuries


  • Prior to cycling, participate in a gradual conditioning program with emphasis on stretching and strengthening exercises. A continued maintenance program throughout the season is beneficial.
  • Remember to warm-up and stretch at least 5 – 10 minutes before cycling.
